Memory Tapes – Sheila

Listening to a Memory Tapes song always reminds me of a friend who has returned from a long vacation and has physically changed. Maybe a bit taller, a bit fuller, but essentially the character stays the same.

MT’s new track Sheila is like that. It’s more spangly and glittery than previous outings. It’s also more mature and boasts a psychedelic guitar solo that will make you jump when you listen to it for the first time. Saying that, it is undeniably Memory Tapes through and through. Think of this track as a nineteen year old discovering the possibilities that adulthood has in store.
